so fresh! Everest Cuisine
03 March 2021
My first ever experience trying Nepalese food was incredible ๐
Even though my family and I have rode the Expedition Everest rollercoaster more than 10x (in one trip!) at Florida's Disney World, I have never tried Nepalese cuisine until this past year. Nepalese cuisine has easily become one of my top 5 favorite cuisines for its wonderful mix of spices, sauces, and lots of Naan!
My absolute Fave was by far the creamy Butter Chicken
I never thought I was huge on the taste of curry dishes, but turns out this is a curry sauce! The thin slices of tender chicken thigh meat in their buttery curry sauce is unlike anything I've ever had - so savory. Plus, the buttery sauce is perfect for dipping the Naan bread into.
What's the FRESHEST part?
All the dishes I've tried include such fresh spices, unique flavors and are served hot out of the kitchen. Chef Sagar and his team pride themselves on using fresh ingredients from the local Farmer's Market and you can definitely tell from that first spoonful of flavor ๐ I also love that they stay open late every day until 1am so you can always get your late night Nepalese fix anytime!
Other Faves?
I cannot get the Butter Chicken without the incredibly popular Garlic Naan! Their Naan bread is fluffy with fresh minced garlic, butter and parsley๐ I also can't believe how huge each slice of Naan is - bigger than my hand!
The Huge Garlic Naan!
Another favorite is the Veggie Fried Momos which are like little crispy bread-filled dumplings - so delicious! My family and boyfriend also enjoyed the Saag Paneer (wonderful veggie option of spinach leaves cooked with Indian spices into a creamy sauce) and the Chicken Curry (mixed with Nepali spices).
Fried Veggies Momos & Saag Paneer (yummy veggie option)
Chicken Curry
I can't wait to go back and try the next dish - Chicken Biryani (saffron rice mixed with chicken and biryani herbs) and one day even visit Nepal ๐ Stay Fresh๐ฒ
